How to transition your wardrobe for spring - For him
21 February 2024
Carrying your wardrobe into spring? No problem. We’ve curated our top tips on how you can transition your style as we move into (slightly) warmer climes. From our favourite jackets, lightweight layers and more, consider this your spring dressing guide.

Carry over jackets
This season, it’s out with the thick coats and in with the lighter jackets. Take a quilted style for example: forever easy to throw-on-and-go over just about anything, from tees to shirts. Our Branham jacket looks great styled over our half zip knits and sweatshirts alike. Or there’s the trusty gilet – layer over a shirt during the week, or team with a rugby shirt for a match-ready weekend ensemble. Your outfit possibilities really are as easy as that.
Lighter layering
Layer light, layer right this spring. Layer light, layer right this spring. Opt for a classic knit, such as our Cotton Crew Neck which is crafted from organic cotton, or you can’t go wrong with the trusty sweatshirt – our Crest Embroidered Half Zip is a classic that takes style notes straight from our beloved British coast. Whatever you choose, a good pair of chinos make the perfect partner.
Introducing lighter colours
It’s nothing new that introducing more colour in spring is the easiest way to refresh your wardrobe, and our latest collection brings with it a palette of pastels, slick neutrals, all alongside our heritage navy, of course. We recommend keeping the rest of your look fairly simple to really let the colour do all the talking, for example styling with a classic pair of denim jeans for him.
Advantage of shirts
Whether it’s our do-it-all Poplin shirt, a lightweight linen number, or perhaps our Spencer Check Flannel shirt – there’s no limit to styling shirts this season. Our favourite way? Wear undone over a white tee and if it gets a bit chilly, drape a knit over your shoulders. Relaxed, yet always put-together.
Swap jeans for chinos
We get it, it’s hard to rival the versatility and comfort of a good pair of jeans, but there’s nothing like a new season to call for a little shake-up in the trouser department. We’re reaching for something a litter more lightweight this spring, and we haven’t got far to look – our chinos are the ultimate alternative. Dress up or down with effortless ease – teamed with our signature rugby shirt gives collegiate-cool, whereas a classic shirt tucked in will always make you look polished.
