Our New Ambassadors: Abbie Ward & Natasha Hunt

Last September, we announced our new partnership with the world’s number one women’s rugby team, the Red Roses. As Official Formalwear Outfitters, we have the honour of dressing the playing squad and non-playing staff for all formal events and appearances. We’re so pleased to be building on this partnership with our two new ambassadors.

Meet Abbie Ward
Abbie Ward has been playing for the Red Roses for the last ten years, has won several Six Nations titles and has competed in two Rugby World Cup finals. Last year she also made history as the first woman to benefit from the RFU maternity rules, returning to the sport just 17 weeks after having her first child.
“I’m so excited to be joining Crew Clothing as an ambassador. I love to be by the coast, so I was already a fan of the brand. 2025 is going to be such a big year for women’s rugby, and Crew’s support of the sport is something that really appealed to me,” said Abbie.

Meet Natasha Hunt
Red Roses scrum-half Natasha Hunt has 76 international caps and has twice helped the England squad reach the Women’s Rugby World Cup final. 2024 was an exciting year for Natasha, as she played in John Mitchell’s Grand Slam winning squad in the Guinness Women’s Six Nations and contributed, like Abbie, to the Red Roses’ WXV title win in Canada.
Natasha said “I’m a big believer in British sport, and there’s so many cool things happening in women’s rugby at the moment. I’m really excited for what’s to come this year, and it’s great to be partnering with a brand that shares such a love for the game.”

An exciting year for women’s rugby
We’re so excited for what 2025 has in store for both players. Natasha and Abbie are set to represent England in the Red Roses Squad during the Guinness Women’s Six Nations in March, followed by the Women’s Rugby World Cup in August.
We couldn’t be happier have two Red Roses joining as brand ambassadors at such an exciting time for Women’s Rugby. We believe this partnership is a natural collaboration that reflects our commitment to supporting the very best of British sport.
“We’re so pleased to be welcoming Abbie and Natasha on board as brand ambassadors. Both are such impressive athletes, and their commitment, drive and values make them a perfect match for Crew. We’re so excited to support them this year, in what is set to be an incredible season for women’s rugby.”
