Gemma Dress

Lovely fabric, fitted well, true to size, beautiful navy blue. Perfect to dress up or down for different occasions.

Loved the quality, weighty fabric and colour of this dress. Unfortunately, it did not sit at all well across my fuller bust line and the hook & eye fastening at the waist did not feel sufficient or secure enough for all-day wear. The fastener also stopped it being a true wrap-around dress, meaning the ability to tailor it to your own waist size/shape was limited. I also found the sleeves to be weirdly uncommitted in design, sitting awkwardly somewhere between a traditional cap sleeve and sleeveless, with the result being an oddly formed sleeve which was about halfway between both looks. Sadly as the style didn’t work for me, I had to return it (which was a breeze by the way), but I have no doubt that on the right person it would look fantastic!

Nice dress and fitted perfectly (5'3", size 14) but it is viscose shell lined with polyester - not cotton as described so returning it for this reason alone.

Am unable to say if the sizing was right as I ordered a size 12 but received a size 14. Dress looked lovely online and was described as 100% cotton - so perfect for my forthcoming holiday to Spain. Unfortunately, not as the material was viscose with polyester lining, so not as advertised, and not suitable for warm weather as doesn’t breathe like cool cotton. So disappointing experience all round. Prompt customer care responses were received which was a plus.
